Thirty-one other rooms let Eli Stowers slide, and the Steelers were the ones holding the card at Round 4, Pick 35. Highway robbery.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The cost of the Wagner reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
