After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
Landing Torrence that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will need Wiley to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

A straight-up fair deal on Jayden Daniels at Round 1, Pick 3, value and slot in agreement. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
They took Jordan Morgan at par in slot 34, which is nothing to complain about. The roster fit checks out.
Ladd McConkey at pick 68 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Khyree Jackson is a better player than the 103rd pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Value said wait; Jared Wiley in the 137th overall pick says they were not listening. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
