You build a draft on nights like this. Daijun Edwards had no business being available in the 170th overall pick, and the Eagles did the only sane thing and turned in the card.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. It is not that Liufau is a bad player; it is that the Eagles had louder needs to answer first. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
