Thirty-one other rooms let Devin Neal slide, and the Cowboys were the ones holding the card at pick 186. Highway robbery. No fireworks, but a solid B.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.

In the 12th overall pick they get a double-digit-sack hope at fair value. More want than need.
Derrick Harmon is a better player than the 44th pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Kaleb Johnson at slot 76 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The roster fit checks out.
