Boards are made to be trusted, and the Commanders shredded theirs for Stone Handy. He came off 93 spots early, and the room will hear about it.
That Carter pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 27 they get a ballhawk on the outside, though the board says they badly overpaid. The biggest hole, addressed.
The board had cheaper options than Xavier Watts at the 35th pick, and it noticed. It adds depth where they could use a little.
They robbed the room for Dylan Sampson here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
A straight-up fair deal on Donovan Jackson at No. 79, value and slot in agreement. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Circle this one: Barrett Carter at the 146th overall pick is a fall that decides a draft. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
They reached a country mile for Stone Handy at pick No. 202, and the board is aghast. The roster fit checks out.
The board fumbled Antwane Wells Jr. all the way to pick 203, and they scooped it up. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
