A respectable, level-headed haul for the Packers: B-.

For all the boxes ticked, the Packers skipped the loudest one: edge rusher is exactly as bare as it was. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
McCormick has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Vaki pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 25th overall pick they get protection for the quarterback at a price that makes it sweeter. A real need, handled.
A premium they did not need to pay, Payton Wilson a notch or two before his time. A minor itch, scratched.
Braden Fiske in Round 2, Pick 26 is fair value, right on his grade. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Jaden Hicks in slot 88. It adds depth where they could use a little.
They jumped the gun on Braelon Allen, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They reached a country mile for Mason McCormick at pick 126, and the board is aghast. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Value with a capital V on Sione Vaki in the 169th pick, a genuine coup. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
