You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Packers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

Reaching for Gray left real value on the table behind him. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Burton.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
