When a board-topper like Taylen Green slides to the 236th pick, you do not overthink it, and the Packers did not. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Romello Height at the 52nd overall pick is money in the bank, a edge rusher taken below his worth. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
D'Angelo Ponds at Round 3, Pick 20 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Steal is underselling it; Daylen Everette at No. 126 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Circle this one: Chris McClellan at pick 160 is a fall that decides a draft. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
They paid sticker price for Le'Veon Moss in the Round 6 slot, and that is fine. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Jimmy Rolder at slot 220 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Taylen Green in the 236th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Taking Brent Austin in pick No. 255 is close to grand larceny; a cornerback that good had no business lasting this long. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
