You build a draft on nights like this. Christen Miller had no business being available in No. 120, and the Packers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

They robbed the room for Colton Hood here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Chris Johnson at pick 84 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Steal is underselling it; Christen Miller at Round 4, Pick 20 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
A top-tier offensive lineman at a bargain, J.C. Davis in pick No. 160, plain and simple. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Circle this one: Isaiah World at No. 201 is a fall that decides a draft. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Red Murdock in slot 236 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Somehow David Gusta was still sitting there in the Round 7 slot, and they pounced on premier interior defensive lineman value. It fills a real need, too.
