The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
No edge and no loss on Cooper DeJean in the 25th pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Kingsley Suamataia well ahead of where he belonged. It fills a real need, too.
A straight-up fair deal on Payton Wilson at slot 58, value and slot in agreement. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Blake Fisher in Round 3, Pick 25 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
They liked Cole Bishop enough to skip the value, taking him in the 91st overall pick. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Dylan Laube at pick 126 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
