Good, not great, for the Packers: B.

The Isaac Guerendo selection is the head-turner. The Packers reached 54 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

Milton III at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick-by-Pick

R2.9 · Pick 41 · Quinyon Mitchell · CB · rank 30
They let Quinyon Mitchell come to them and pounced at the 41st pick. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
R2.17 · Pick 49 · Jackson Powers-Johnson · C · rank 51
By-the-book stuff, Jackson Powers-Johnson at pick 49 squarely in line with his ranking. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
R2.26 · Pick 58 · Edgerrin Cooper · LB · rank 56
Edgerrin Cooper at the 58th overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
R3.6 · Pick 70 · Trey Benson · RB · rank 68
They paid sticker price for Trey Benson in the Round 3 slot, and that is fine. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
R3.25 · Pick 88 · Cooper Beebe · OG · rank 75
They read the board right and Cooper Beebe was the payoff at No. 88. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
R3.28 · Pick 91 · Jaden Hicks · S · rank 107
They paid a round early for Jaden Hicks in slot 91, more than the board wanted. It adds depth where they could use a little.
R4.16 · Pick 116 · Darius Robinson · DL-EDGE · rank 121
No edge and no loss on Darius Robinson in the 116th pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
R4.27 · Pick 127 · Khyree Jackson · CB · rank 105
Khyree Jackson in the Round 4 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
R5.32 · Pick 168 · Braelon Allen · RB · rank 159
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Braelon Allen at pick 168 is the proof. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
R6.29 · Pick 204 · Joe Milton III · QB · rank 171
They will replay Joe Milton III at slot 204 for years; that is how good the value is. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
R7.1 · Pick 221 · Isaac Guerendo · RB · rank 275
Value said wait; Isaac Guerendo in Round 7, Pick 1 says they were not listening. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
R7.23 · Pick 243 · Dwight McGlothern · CB · rank 280
This one needs a full-page explanation: Dwight McGlothern in No. 243, miles early. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
R7.31 · Pick 251 · Joshua Cephus · WR · rank 258
A straight-up fair deal on Joshua Cephus at pick No. 251, value and slot in agreement. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
R7.32 · Pick 252 · Trey Taylor · S · rank 253
They took Trey Taylor at par in the 252nd overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
