The Packers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Isaac Guerendo at the 251st pick regardless, 36 picks early. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
On value alone, Fisher makes the weekend a net positive. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.
They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 25 they get a potential shutdown corner, outstanding value to boot. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Quinyon Mitchell at the 41st pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
By-the-book stuff, Edgerrin Cooper at slot 58 squarely in line with his ranking. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
A tidy bit of business in the Round 3 slot, where Cooper Beebe graded well above the range. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
They paid sticker price for Audric Estime in No. 91, and that is fine. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Blake Fisher in pick No. 127 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Jaylen Wright in the 168th pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
The board had Josh Proctor higher than slot 204, and the safety fell to them anyway. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Christian Jones at No. 216 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the offensive lineman. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
The board fumbled Kenny Logan Jr. all the way to Round 7, Pick 23, and they scooped it up. It is more luxury than necessity; they were already set here.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Isaac Guerendo in the Round 7 slot, miles early. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
