Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Packers spent the 219th overall pick on Dallas Gant, a name the board had a full 103 spots lower. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

That Wright pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
