There is conviction, and then there is this. The Packers took Jalen Sundell a full 119 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

About as rough as a weekend gets on paper, with edge rusher still staring back at them.
