The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Packers reached some 40 spots for Adam Randall, and value like that does not grow back.
That Muhammad pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
No drama and no debate, Christen Miller went about where he belonged in pick 52. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
A tidy bit of business in slot 84, where Jacob Rodriguez graded well above the range. A minor need, but a need all the same.
They will replay Malik Muhammad at No. 120 for years; that is how good the value is. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Nothing to complain about; Beau Stephens went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
The board had Ephesians Prysock higher than the 201st pick, and the cornerback fell to them anyway. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They reached into another round for Adam Randall, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
No edge and no loss on Lake McRee in pick No. 255; it is a wash and a sensible one. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
