Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Packers came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Latham value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
The board had JC Latham higher than the 31st overall pick, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
They did well to land Keon Coleman in pick 41, just ahead of his grade. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
They paid sticker price for Calen Bullock in Round 2, Pick 11, and that is fine. A minor itch, scratched.
T.J. Tampa at slot 55 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Adonai Mitchell in the Round 3 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The roster fit checks out.
A market-rate interior defensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Nazir Stackhouse. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
A tidy little value on Smael Mondon Jr. in the 109th pick, a step better than break-even. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Tyler Guyton in pick No. 135 is fair value, right on his grade. A need, and now a little less of one.
