The Packers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 75th pick on Braelon Allen a full 80 spots early.
Everything downstream of Drake Maye depends on Drake Maye, and the building knows it. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The Packers indulged a want in Smith while a need in cornerback, wide receiver and other spots stayed open. However the rest shakes out, Kamara at that price is a win they earned.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 4th overall pick they get the arm they will build around. The biggest hole, addressed.
A big swing on Braelon Allen at the Round 3 slot, well ahead of any board in the building. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
A surprising call. With cornerback, wide receiver and other spots still to address, they spent pick No. 91 on Maason Smith, a DT-EDGE they were not short of.

A slide stopped in Round 4, Pick 12, with Marshawn Kneeland worth more than the price. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Mohamed Kamara at No. 130 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Tanner Mordecai in the Round 7 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
