Boards are made to be trusted, and the Packers shredded theirs for Trevor Keegan. He came off 35 spots early, and the room will hear about it.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 25 they get a true top target, though the board says they badly overpaid. A real need, handled.
A reach on Braden Fiske in pick 41; the board had better options right there. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Kamren Kinchens in the 58th overall pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Jarvis Brownlee Jr. in the 88th pick is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Value said wait; Braelon Allen in Round 3, Pick 28 says they were not listening. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A real head-scratcher, Trevor Keegan in pick No. 127 is miles ahead of his ranking. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Jaylan Ford at Round 5, Pick 32 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
