The Erick All selection is the head-turner. The Packers reached 46 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Kinchens at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 25 they get a plug-and-play piece up front. A clean fit for the roster.
Nice patience on Kamren Kinchens, who had no business lasting to the 37th overall pick. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Cooper Beebe in the 92nd pick, miles early. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
A clean, defensible pick in No. 103 with a little surplus value in J. Michael Sturdivant. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
They paid sticker price for Junior Colson in the Round 4 slot, and that is fine. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
