Of all the ways to open, the Packers chose the head-scratcher, spending Round 4, Pick 25 on Cole Bishop with edge rusher, quarterback and other spots still wide open. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Speights.

Every board in the league had Wedig lower, and that gap is the story.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
