Whoever sat across the table from the Packers should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. The bottom line is a respectable B.
The Bullard pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
The Derwin James Jr. pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

In No. 11 they get a disruptive interior force at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
They robbed the room for Javon Bullard here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A minor itch, scratched.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Tyler Guyton at the 75th overall pick is the proof. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
No edge and no loss on TreVeyon Henderson in the Round 3 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Kiran Amegadjie at Round 4, Pick 11 is money in the bank, a offensive lineman taken below his worth. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Nehemiah Pritchett in slot 135 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
