Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Packers, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
The Moore pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, quarterback and other spots. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They are betting Williams proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 23 they get a building block for the line. A real need, handled.
Nate Wiggins in the 39th pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A straight-up fair deal on Calen Bullock at the Round 2 slot, value and slot in agreement. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
