When a board-topper like Tyler Nubin slides to the 88th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Packers did not.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Reaching for Allen left real value on the table behind him.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
