Start where it matters. The Patriots took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.
Landing Wilson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Patriots paired the rookies with proven help, Bobby Okereke leading the way.
In the end it comes back to Jayden Daniels, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 7 they get a long-term answer under center. A real need, handled.
The board had Troy Fautanu higher than Round 2, Pick 2, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.

Nehemiah Pritchett at the 146th pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It is more luxury than necessity; they were already set here.

A offensive lineman of that caliber at pick 193 is the definition of value, full stop. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
