B
Green Bay Packers
Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Packers.

2024 NFL Draft
· 6 picks
· 0 steals
· 2 reaches
For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Packers walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.
They will need Allen to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 28th pick they get a lockdown presence outside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Edgerrin Cooper at the Round 2 slot is a conviction pick that outran the value. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Kingsley Suamataia at the 58th overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Nothing to complain about; Xavier Worthy went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Braelon Allen. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A clean, defensible pick in No. 126 with a little surplus value in Josh Newton. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
