Boards are made to be trusted, and the Panthers shredded theirs for Logan Fano. He came off 55 spots early, and the room will hear about it.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Golday. They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 19th overall pick they get a true top target, and a steal at that. The biggest hole, addressed.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Anthony Hill Jr. at pick No. 51 is the proof. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Steal is underselling it; Jake Golday at pick 83 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
They robbed the room for Malik Muhammad here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Tanner Koziol at slot 158 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
