The Patriots spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Ryan Fitzgerald, the No. 117 name on the board, in the Round 7 slot. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Biggers has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
