Start where it matters. The Patriots took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A.
The Laube pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
In the end it comes back to Jayden Daniels, and a haul good enough to build on right away.

Dylan Laube in the 182nd pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
