After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Landing Jones that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

They will need Hunt to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
