The board owed the Patriots one, and it paid up: Walter Nolen, the No. 12 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 106 like a gift left on the doorstep. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
