The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Mike Sainristil, Round 4, Pick 2, roughly 36 picks past where he belonged. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
The cost of the Suamataia reach is exactly the players who went right after him. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
