After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Watson.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Drake Maye and all.
