The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

Johnson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Richardson steal is the beam this whole class leans on. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
