They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Drake Maye is the Patriots' quarterback, full stop.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Jones. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Laube has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

In the end it comes back to Drake Maye, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
