Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Patriots spent the 239th overall pick on Taulia Tagovailoa, a name most had 50 spots down the list. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Getting Lovett where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
