The war room fell hard for Taulia Tagovailoa, and it showed at the Round 7 slot: 58 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. If one pick saves this weekend, it is McGlothern.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a No. 1 receiver. The biggest hole, addressed.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Chop Robinson at pick 34. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Patrick Paul at No. 58 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
They took Mike Sainristil at par in Round 3, Pick 4, which is nothing to complain about. A minor itch, scratched.
