When a board-topper like Cam Skattebo slides to pick No. 219, you do not overthink it, and the Patriots did not.
Every board in the league had Wedig lower, and that gap is the story. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.

In slot 8 they get a three-down runner. A clean fit for the roster.
