The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

However the rest shakes out, Brooks at that price is a win they earned. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

With interior defensive lineman and tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
