Thirty-one other rooms let Daijahn Anthony slide, and the Patriots were the ones holding the card at Round 7, Pick 9. Highway robbery. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.
The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.
Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.

In the 12th pick they get a go-to option on the outside at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Jordan Morgan in Round 2, Pick 2 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. The roster fit checks out.
Kalen King in the 68th overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
