Call it larceny. Cedric Gray sat on the board until No. 180, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. If Rattler pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

The Patriots paired the rookies with proven help, Brian O'Neill leading the way.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
