The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Patriots watched Ryan Fitzgerald slide 123 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Just about everything broke right, and the A follows.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
