The Raiders spent the pick that matters most on Michael Penix Jr., and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They are betting Hall proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
That Legette pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
