Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Titans spent the 194th overall pick on Mitchell Melton, a name the board had a full 209 spots lower. No fireworks, but a solid B.
The Tyson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.
Spending an early pick on cornerback with offensive lineman, running back and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The offensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
