The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Lions reached some 133 spots for Kamran James, and value like that does not grow back. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

On value alone, Ponds makes the weekend a net positive.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
