Dallas Cowboys
Good, not great, for the Cowboys: B.

2025 NFL Draft
· 12 picks
· 6 steals
· 5 reaches
They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Thor Griffith, 103 picks early at pick 171. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
On value alone, Singleton makes the weekend a net positive. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 12 they get a lockdown presence outside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
The board had Derrick Harmon higher than pick 45, and the interior defensive lineman fell to them anyway. The roster fit checks out.
They reached a country mile for Luke Kandra at the 76th overall pick, and the board is aghast. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Steal is underselling it; Deontae Lawson at Round 4, Pick 15 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Somehow Elic Ayomanor was still sitting there in slot 148, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Sonny Styles in pick No. 150 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
A running back of that caliber at pick No. 168 is the definition of value, full stop. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Raheim Sanders at Round 5, Pick 33 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Thor Griffith in pick 171 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It fills a real need, too.
A real head-scratcher, Miles Frazier in the 187th overall pick is miles ahead of his ranking. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Jamaree Caldwell this early at the 209th pick. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Value said wait; KJ Jefferson in the Round 7 slot says they were not listening. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
