The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Kimani Vidal, pick No. 223, roughly 23 picks past where he belonged. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. The cost of the Thomas reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
They will replay Ennis Rakestraw Jr. at pick 54 for years; that is how good the value is. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

Jaylen Wright at No. 160 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Khristian Boyd at pick 164 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the edge rusher. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
LaDarius Henderson in the 170th pick is fair value, right on his grade. A need, and now a little less of one.
No edge and no loss on Joe Milton III in the 171st overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Brennan Jackson at the Round 6 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They robbed the room for Kimani Vidal here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They took Brevyn Spann-Ford at par in pick No. 240, which is nothing to complain about. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
