Thirty-one other rooms let Tahj Washington slide, and the Eagles were the ones holding the card at No. 210. Highway robbery.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. They went 5 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 22 they get a lockdown presence outside. The biggest hole, addressed.
They paid sticker price for Xavier Worthy in No. 50, and that is fine. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Chris Braswell slipping to the Round 2 slot is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
A clean, defensible pick in the 120th overall pick with a little surplus value in Matt Goncalves. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Jacob Cowing slid further than he should have, and Round 5, Pick 25 is lovely value for the wide receiver. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
