It is a puzzling start. The Dolphins had quarterback, wide receiver and other spots to solve and reached instead for Kalen King, a cornerback, at the 54th pick.
They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The King pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
Every board in the league had Eguakun lower, and that gap is the story. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
