The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Chau Smith-Wade, Round 7, Pick 3, roughly 61 picks past where he belonged.
Everything downstream of Caleb Williams depends on Caleb Williams, and the building knows it. Reaching for Braswell left real value on the table behind him. It is not that Solomon is a bad player; it is that the Commanders had louder needs to answer first.
The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
