The board owed the Steelers one, and it paid up: Kamari Ramsey, the No. 78 name on the board, sitting there at Round 3, Pick 35 like a gift left on the doorstep. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Anthony Hill Jr. in pick No. 53 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It fills a real need, too.
Keionte Scott at the 76th overall pick is money in the bank, a cornerback taken below his worth. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
